Excel Automation Assistant Privacy Policy

Excel Automation Assistant is a browser extension that imports user-selected Excel data and assists with filling a repair workflow page. This policy explains the data processed by the extension and its beta backend.

Data we process

• Google account email address and account identifier for sign-in.
• Authentication tokens used to keep the user signed in.
• User-selected Excel data, processing state, and form-filling progress stored locally in the browser.
• Test balance, recharge, referral, and consumption transaction records.
• The success result of the configured repair submission endpoint, used to determine whether one test balance record should be consumed.

How data is used

Data is used only to authenticate users, provide the Excel-to-form workflow, maintain processing state, create PayPal payment orders, update balances, prevent duplicate charges, and support transaction auditing.

Payments

Payments are completed on PayPal-hosted pages. Payment card and PayPal account details are not collected or stored by the extension or its backend.

Data sharing

Data is shared only with service providers required to operate the extension: Google authentication and cloud services, Firebase/Firestore, and PayPal. Data is not sold, used for advertising, or transferred for unrelated purposes.

Storage and security

Session and workflow data may be stored in Chrome local storage. Account and transaction records are stored in Google Firestore. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access credentials are stored using managed cloud secrets.

Retention and deletion

Local extension data can be removed by signing out, clearing extension data, or uninstalling the extension. Beta account and transaction records are retained for testing and audit purposes. Users may request deletion by contacting the address below.
